While the attachments are fun, some don't work as well as expected and the attachment needs to be removed so the wii will be able to read the wii remotes motions properly. When I purchased, I didn't realize the tennis racket attachment required bateries.

When I bought this I was very excited to have a more realistic feel to playing the wii. Unfortunately, I found that it was actually easier and more comfortable to play without the accessories. There is nothing wrong with them, and some may like them. But I found them more cumbersome to use and so we have just put them way and use only the remote. Save your money, it really does not give a more realistic or comfortable feel.

I ordered this set because it was cheaper than all the others. It was advertised as nintendo wii controller, but when I received it I was very upset. It was a generic controller. We are so disappointed with this product. We believe we were deceived. There was no indication that what was being sent was going to be a knock-off! We noticed immediately that something was wrong when we tried to play a game (Frisbee golf) and couldn't get the controller to respond accurately to our hand and arm motions. The original Wii controllers have precision accuracy and this one just did not handle the same. Once we established that the controller wasn't working properly, we checked on line to see what we could find out about FAKE Wii Controllers and the world opened up. We saw all the minute differences, the strap does not have a latch, the controller doesn't even have the Wii Logo on it (how did we not notice that right away?), the font size and colors on the buttons are different...and even upon closer look, you can see that a lot of the "safety and inspection" raised print that show code compliances on the original are completely missing from this Fake one, even the electrical connectors are slightly different... Ultimately, it's the Performance that matters! Every person who picked up this controller at our house noticed the difference between the original and the new "FAKE" controller...it really messes you up if you are serious about your game. I wouldn't recommend this product to any one. I can't believe there is no clear statement alerting people that what is being sold is not a genuine Nintendo Wii product. I have contacted Amazon, and they are working on helping us get some type of resolution.

These look just like the photo and the quality seems to be as expected. However, they fit very snuggly on the remote. It takes several minutes to put on and then if you have rechargable batteries in your remote, you have to take it off to charge. So everytime you play, you have to work to get the cover on and then work to get it off. Too much trouble for me, as the covers that come with the remotes quickly slide on and of without much trouble. Also there are 3 colors that I found available in the same style as the ones included with the remote originally.

These covers are good quality, but I have found a few issues. The main issue is that, just for my three wii-motes, it took me awhile to put on. By the time I finally got them on my fingers ached a bit. These were still good because they are durable, but be prepared for a struggle to get them on.

We purchases this bundle to use with our Wiifit and Wiifit plus. The balance board cover is very nice, makes it much more comfortable to stand on balance board, the rechargable battery is also nice, as long as you remember to keep it charged. My only real problem with this set is the cover for the wii remote. This was the main reason for me purchasing this bundle, when you do the running exercises in Wiifit its supposed to give you a more accurate reading. How ever, just the act of putting this cover on the remote ripped it. It is made of very flimsy material, and Im waiting for any day now the clip to come ripping out of the cover.

Everything with this 6 in 1 Wii Fit Kit was in order. It was exactly what I expected. However, the silicone remote cover and the belt clip were not the best quality. First of all, the belt clip did not lock in well. It was useless. When I tried to get the lock to grab better, the plastic piece broke easily. Also, the silicone remote cover tore easily when I tried to remove it for Mario Kart wheel or other activities. It was difficult enough to put on, but taking it off, it tore in a few places. Everything else in the kit are still fine and work well for our use. My advice for purchasers is to keep one remote specifically for the purpose of using with Wii fit or other exercise 'games.'

Wii Remote MotionPlus Bundle - Blue Reviews

About a couple years ago I heard Nintendo was planning to dish out a black Wii. I told myself I'd wait and hold off the white one, but what with all the great games already out, I couldn't resist.

As with most Wii purchasers, I added another Wii remote (or "Wiimote") and Nunchuk. The white's fine and all, but I really wanted the colored controllers as in the initial advertisements for Nintendo's Wii.

Remember the lime green and red ones?

Nevertheless, with two white controllers, I really didn't need any more. That is, until the black one finally came out.

I was initially baffled upon spotting the device because I hadn't heard anything about its release, and just happened to stumble upon some at my local Target. I asked the nearby clerk, "When did these come out?" but he didn't know (apparently they came out a week prior to this review). I rushed home and placed an order for the Wiimote and Nunchuk through Amazon.com (price-sensitive, I wanted the best deal; I could wait for Amazon.com to deliver).

The black Wiimote feels and functions superbly. Sure, it's the same as the white one albeit differently colored, but the blackness just gives it a supreme look--in my opinion, at least. The front side with the majority of the buttons has a glossy finish, which emits a radiant shine, whilst the back side with the battery door has a matte look and feel. The gloss may get dirty in the long run with fingerprints and skin oil, but for now it's staying shiny. The black rubber jackets may eventually attract dust and lint, but, again, for now they're as clean as can be.

Also, and this may just be the fact that it's still new, the speaker sounds louder and crisper than my other Wiimotes' speakers. I thought I accidentally had it on a louder setting, but when I checked my Wii it was the same setting as my white ones, so I figured Nintendo improved the sound chips.

In this package you get the Wiimote, MotionPlus, batteries, wrist strap and two rubber jackets--one to hold the MotionPlus and one to hold the Wiimote without (which I'm currently using for New Super Mario Bros. Wii). Plus, you end up saving on this bundle over the white set, which can only be purchased separately as of this review. On Amazon.com, you'll end saving or so.

All in all, it's the same ol' Wiimote, but in black. It has that new, stiff button feel, which I personally like, but give it some time to break in.

If you like black, opt for this controller. This is my "special" one that no one but me will use; friends and family can use my other white ones.

Oh, and Nintendo has some blue and pink bundles coming in February 2010 (but with white jackets and MotionPluses).

Nice shiny black Wiimote with motionplus -- what's not to like?

One issue though is the jacket is a little thicker than the old clear ones, and seems to block charging with the Nyko inductive charger (Wii Charge Base Induction Charger), as of December 2009 anyway. If you actually use the jackets and have an inductive charger, you might want to wait for this to get resolved.
