Got this bag for my kids 2 DSi's. It will fit both, along with 20 games, but it is not very roomy. If you have a silicone cover on the DSi, it does not slip in & out of the bag very easily as the bag is felt lined and the compartment for the DSi is fairly snug. You deffinitely couldn't fit a DS in here with the Nerf Armor case on it. While I complain it is not very roomy, it is not meant to tote around 2 DSi's and the accessories that go along with both of them. If you wanted to use this for just 1 DS & accessories, it would be perfect because everything that goes along with it isn't very large anyways.

It has an adjustable strap that can fit a child nicely, yet adjust to fit mom & dad too. The strap attaches with a spinning hook, which I find great because it doesn't get all twisted. You can even remove the strap and use the handle on top of the bag if you wanted to. Lots of room for extra stylus (slides into an elastic strap to hold in place). Overall, a great little bag that doesn't take up too much room and keeps the DSi's safe when not being played...I wouldn't worry about the DS too much if they were inside and the bag was dropped.

******UPDATE******

I actually can fit my sons DSi in the bag when it has the Nerf Armor foam case on it. It is very snug, but it does fit!! I have 2 kids, which means 2 DSi's...so I'm ordering another Nerf case and I think this bag will hold both of them with the cases on. I'll update then and also add a picture showing them both in there.

New Nintendo DSi / DS Lite EVA Carrying Hard Shell Case - Black Reviews

My two kids have a DS Lite and a DSi. This case does NOT fit the DSi well, but it DOES fit the DS Lite just fine, and is a nice case for the DS Lite.

The DSi is a bit wider than the DS Lite, and the L & R button protrude a bit from the back of the unit. Therefore, when the DSi is placed in this case, the L and R buttons touch the inside edge of the case, and sometimes actually get pressed by the edge of the case. I did not like this, since the only reason one of my kids even has a DSi in the first place is because he dropped his DSLite on the L button, and broke the button. I bought this case to prevent a similar recurrence, but I am afraid that if the DSi were dropped while inside this case it would still break the L or R buttons.

That being said, I placed the other kid's DS Lite in the case, and it fits beautifully without touching the L & R buttons. When the case is zipped, the slight compression from the top and bottom of the case keep the DS Lite in place (i.e. not sliding around inside the case). Both my kid and I find it too much hassle to use the two little elastic straps on the inside to hold the DS Lite. We just put it in the case and zip it up. I just told him to be careful when he opens it. We are now using this case for the DS Lite daily.

So, this is a great case for a DS Lite, but is much too tight a fit for a DSi. This case which was obviously designed specifically for the smaller DS Lite.

For the DSi, I ended up buying the similar, but slightly larger DS Lite Mini Folio - Black. It has more space around the unit, and fits the DSi well. The only downside is that the Mini Folio is much thicker than this EVA case. I would still get this one for the DS Lite.

Very pleased with the DS case. Solid construction and durable. It has saved the DS on many an occasion already from drops. Only complaint is that you can't fully zip it up with the charging cable plugged into the unit.

Pro: Good and hard padding.

Con: Only fits my DS Lite and not my DSi; Actually, the DSi does fit, but the DSi will not fit in the properly secured slot. I also worry about scratching the DSi when zipping up because it's a tight fit.

For a similar, albeit less well padded, case, consider the DSi Compact Case by Hori.

I haven't had my Ds lite case for very long, but it fits my Ds lite quite nicely and seems sturdy enough.

I was a little bummed because in the pictures on amazon there seemed to be a way to hold the three games in the case. When I opened my case I saw that theres velcro but no individual pouches for my games. I had really liked the look of this feature so I was kind of peeved that it did not come this way.

Other than that, seems to be doing fine which is why I give it 4 stars.

This is a good product for protecting your DS Lite and keeping its accessories together. However, it could stand to be a slight bit larger. I think the designers were more worried with having a streamlined look than practicality. There are slots for 3 games and one large pocket for more games and/or the charger. The charger barely fits, but I keep mine in there, and over time, the case has stretched some, so it fits better. This would be good for someone that uses the DS only sometimes, like me, and only has a few games. Those with more accessories and games should probably get a larger case.

It's a very cute case. I got mine in pink. It's small and light but it could be the tiniest fraction larger so the DS fits better. The corners hit the rounded sides of the case and it can't fit fully in the case. You can still zip it up fine, however so I'm all around
